Nadia Popovici is getting a $10,000 scholarship for medical school as a thank you for advising Vancouver Canucks assistant equipment manager Brian “Red” Hamilton to get a mole on his neck – which turned out to be a malignant melanoma – checked out after spotting it during a game last year.
