Our world has been turned upside down by the Covid-19 pandemic, which is now in its second year.
As of April 30, there have been more than 150 million cases reported. More than 3 million people have died.
Covid-19 was first reported in Wuhan, a city of 11 million people in central China’s Hubei province. It has since spread to every continent, devastating economies and changing the way we live our daily lives. The “new normal” for many of us includes face masks and social distancing.
Hope is on the way, in the form of vaccines. But many are still waiting.
