Salma Hayek, Margot Robbie, Renee Zellweger and Gal Gadot led the way as stars attended the socially-distanced 78th Annual Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills on Sunday night.
Stars of the silver and small screen attended the ceremony both in person and from home, as the storied ceremony finally got into full swing, after being delayed by almost two months due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Crown swept the television drama categories and Nomadland earned the top honor in film, but the most shocking moment of the night came when Andra Day won best actress at the first ever bi-coastal awards.
The awards had a different format than any other year due to the pandemic; as hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehloer hosted the show on different sides of the US with a social distanced audience made up of first responders.
While some celebrities were at the awards ceremony in person as presenters, most watched from their homes, sharing images of their gowns and tuxedos from insides their homes or gardens.
Stars of the Crown Olivia Coleman, Gillian Anderson, Emma Corrin and Josh O’Connor and The Queen’s Gambit star Anya Taylor-Joy all showcased their awards looks from their virtual locations, before sweeping the board in their categories.
Attending the ceremony in person, Salma, 54, dazzled in a crimson Alexander McQueen gown that featured a cinched waist and a one-shoulder detail and added a Harry Winston diamond brooch along the neckline.
Salma sported pale pink polished nails with her dark tresses center parted and in waves, while also wearing wore lipstick with rosy blush on her cheeks beneath defined brows.
