- Satirical clip shared to Instagram ahead of the release of HBO Max’s The Prince
Cartoon Prince George joins the Queen to deliver an alternative Christmas speech in a new spoof video from Family Guy producer Gary Janetti.
The animated clip sees Her Majesty, voiced by actress Frances de la Tour, look back on 2020 and list the ‘challenges’ the world has faced.
During her message, in which she references the global pandemic and devastating wildfires, the seven-year-old interjects to lament the cancellation of the Coachella music festival, the postponement of the latest James Bond movie and Denise Richards leaving the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Her Majesty concludes by admitting this year ‘really f****** sucked’, adding: ‘At least we got the vaccine,’ to which cartoon George quipped: ‘Most of them didn’t,’ signalling the audience at home.

The prince then signed off: ‘Merry Christmas b*****s, George and GanGan out.’
The satirical clip was shared to Instagram ahead of the release of The Prince, a HBO Max animated show which puts the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s children centre-stage.
Prince George is portrayed as a sassy and snarky commentator on all things royal and celebrity while Northampton-born Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner will voice Princess Charlotte, five.
The animated series, which is expected to go out in the UK next year, is the brainchild of writer Janetti who first began making jibes at Prince George on his Instagram account which has almost one million followers.

Among the all-star cast is Orlando Bloom, who voices Prince Harry, Condola Rashad as Meghan Markle, Lucy Punch as Kate Middleton and Iwan Rheon as Prince William.
Many of Janetti’s followers praised this latest spoof of the Queen’s speech, with one branding it ‘the best Christmas present ever’.
Another commented on the post: ‘I needed this today, Thank you so much Gary! Merry Christmas.’
And one wrote: ‘Omg! Thank you for the laugh! Merry Christmas.’
However, creators of the forthcoming £5 million series have previously been accused of ‘taking cheap shots’ by pillorying seven-year-old Prince George as a demanding, precocious spoiled brat.

Janetti’s Prince George regularly mocks his parents, his younger siblings, his uncle Harry and aunt Meghan, their son Archie, and other members of his family.
Critics claim the youngster could be adversely affected by his portrayal in the eight-part series, which is due to air on the HBO Max streaming service.
The row follows the outrage sparked by Netflix drama The Crown, which has been accused of exploiting the Royal Family for financial gain and depicting hurtful fiction as fact.
Mr Janetti, 54, voices the young Royal in what a fellow producer described as ‘the worst faux English accent ever’ while Orlando Bloom plays Prince Harry alongside Game Of Thrones actress Sophie Turner as Princess Charlotte.

Earlier this month a producer for rival Disney Studios accused Mr Janetti of ‘taking cheap shots’, saying: ‘It’s one thing for film-makers to play fast and loose with the truth in shows like The Crown but poking fun at a seven-year-old child seems cruel and unfair.
‘Some things should be off-limits. It’s morally wrong to use a child to get cheap laughs.’
Mr Janetti says he hopes the young Prince will be able to laugh at the satire, adding: ‘I would hope that he would find it super funny, and have a sense of humour about it, and obviously see that everything is meant with affection.’
