A staffer at Carole Baskin’s Big Cat Rescue in Tampa, Florida has been rushed to hospital after being bitten by a tiger.
The attack happened at around 8am Thursday before emergency crews rushed to the scene.
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue officials told Bay News 9 that the injuries are considered ‘serious’.
The name of the injured employee has not been publicly released.
Calls to Big Cat Rescue went unanswered on Thursday morning. DailyMail.com has reached out to Baskin via email.

Baskin, 59, was thrust into the limelight when she featured in the 2020 Netflix documentary ‘Tiger King’ with Joe Exotic. She later appeared on ‘Dancing with the Stars’.
The series focused on Joe’s bizarre life, his Oklahoma zoo, as well as his bitter feud with big-cat rights activist Baskin.
