‘The thing is to resolve problems and not let them fester. Shane was really ill at times, you have highs and lows.

‘Everybody was positive. It was rewarding.’

Ant and Dec then went on to talk to Mo about his experience on the show. During the eviction interview, the athlete spoke of why he took part in I’m A Celebrity: ‘Part of me was like “can I challenge myself?”, he said.

They failed to win any points in the first round but  during the next round, they both got the questions correct so won two stars.

After the shields moved around again, Mo got his wrong symbol wrong but AJ was right meaning they won another star, getting total of three overall.

Viewers also watched Giovanna finally receive a sweet message from her husband Tom and their children, as well as Jordan and AJ.

The author who previously missed out on a letter from home, was overjoyed as she got the message from Tom, along with some chocolate hobknobs.

AJ and Jessica Plummer, who left the castle on Tuesday night, earned the notes by taking part in the Castle Coin Challenge, which saw them transfer food from bucket to bucket for Humphrey the horse.

While it was not an easy task, and the pair accidentally covered each other in some of Humphrey’s food, they did succeed, with AJ helping to finish the task by carrying the final molasses in his wellington boot.

After winning the bag of coins from Humphrey’s mouth they were offered to either take the remaining treats from home for AJ, Giovanna and Jordan, or a fruit platter, and Jessica chose the former.
