2020 MTV EMAs: Little Mix lead the glamour in VERY striking ensembles after Jesy Nelson pulled out of hosting while Rita Ora wows in a ruffled yellow dress at star-studded socially distanced ceremony
Little Mix‘s Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock led the glamour on Sunday night as they wowed in very striking ensembles ahead of the pre-recorded 2020 MTV EMAs.
The band were also joined by Rita Ora on the star-studded and socially-distanced red carpet who put on a very leggy display in a yellow ruffled chiffon mini dress.
Perrie, 27, Jade, 27, and Leigh-Anne, 29, are hosting the pre-recorded ceremony, which has been filmed in different locations, and will perform their latest single Sweet Melody from their new album Confetti.

The trio are without their fourth member Jesy Nelson who was forced to pull out of the event and the final of Little Mix: The Search due to illness.
Perrie looked incredible in two different ensembles as she posed up a storm on the red carpet in one look which comprised of a deeply plunging black tuxedo bodysuit adorned with a blue ruffled trim.
The singer teamed the look with a pair of tights and classic black heels, opting forgo any jewellery to make sure all eyes remained on the outfit.

For her second look of the night, the singer put on a very leggy display in a tiny blue leather mini blazer dress with a perilously daring slit and sparkly platform heeled sandals.
Leigh-Anne rocked two striking ensembles as she showcased her toned figure in a tiny white strapless bodysuit with a deeply plunging neckline.
The star teamed the racy item of clothing with a pair of matching sheer tights and arm cuffs as she posed up a storm on the red carpet.

Elsewhere, Jade looked sensational as she opted for a pink patterned co-ord which consisted of an oversized blazer and matching tights.
Letting the outfit take centre stage, the singer accessorised with clear perspex heels and a gold pendant necklace.
Jade styled her brunette locks into a glossy blow-dried hairdo, she added a slick of glamorous make-up as she posed on the red carpet.
It was revealed on Saturday that fourth member Jesy had pulled out of the event and the final of Little Mix: The Search due to illness.
A statement released to MailOnline read: ‘Jesy is unwell and will not be appearing on tonight’s final of Little Mix The Search. She will also not be hosting or performing at tomorrow’s MTV EMA’s.’
Lady Gaga received the most nominations this year with seven nods, including Best Artist, Best Pop, and Best Video for her duet with Ariana Grande, Rain On Me, which also secured a position in the Best Song and Best Collaboration categories.
Meanwhile, Justin Bieber, 26, and pop group BTS followed behind Gaga with five nominations a piece.
Justin was nominated for Biggest Fans, Best Artist, Best Collaboration, Best New and Best Pop.
BTS received nominations in the Best Artist, Biggest Fans, Best Pop, Best Group and Best Virtual Live categories.

Other nominees included Little Mix, Katy Perry, Drake and Nicki Minaj for her WAP video with Megan Thee Stallion.
The nominations include three new categories: Best Latin, Video for Good and Best Virtual Live.
The MTV EMAs comes just a few days after both Gaga and Bieber secured nominations in the E! People’s Choice Award.

This year newcomer Megan Thee Stallion and veteran Justin earned the most nods across the music categories with six nominations each, followed close behind with Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande with five.
Several new music awards were added this year like The New Artist of 2020, The Collaboration Song of 2020 and The Soundtrack Song of 2020.
In the film categories, Birds of Prey, Hamilton and Bad Boys for Life each nabbed five nominations, making it a three-way tie for the most nominated movie.
