In his early days at Manchester United at the time the footage was captured, David showed off his modest living room – complete with dark curtains, a white leather sofa, a cardboard cut-out of himself and trophies shoved onto a windowsill.
Explaining the cut-out, David said: ‘My girlfriend’s mum wanted a big cardboard cut-out of me.’
The camera then moved into David and Victoria’s small kitchen, where the superstar footballer giggled while showing off a packet of Walkers crisps stamped with Victoria’s face.
David quipped: ‘It’s sometimes embarrassing when you go and get a big bag of Walkers crisps and it’s got your girlfriend on the front.’

Heading upstairs, David was asked to explain a large dent in his hallway’s wall.
He shared: ‘I was rushing [down the stairs] and I had my United blazer and everything on, I was going for an away trip, and I slipped on one of these stairs and my knee went flying into that.’
Moving into the bedroom, David sat on his bed while Rob browsed through David’s clothes, hung on shelves and crammed into a corner of the room.

Elsewhere in the interview, a giddy David was asked: ‘Did girls used to fancy you as a kid?’ and sweetly replied: ‘They used to think I was more cute.’
Rob also queried: ‘What sort of mail do you get? Do you get people sending you knickers through the post?’
David answered: ‘Yeah. I’ve got a black bra. A big massive black bra that my dad was very excited about.’
