She opened up about the ordeal on TikTok where it quickly went viral, and many people were left reeling over the man’s ‘cruel’ message.

‘*Getting home from what I thought was a pretty good date*,’ she began in the video, which showed her smiling and looking happy.

It then cut to a screenshot of the message she had received from the date.

‘Hey, I want to be 100 per cent transparent because I really do like you,’ he wrote in it.

‘Your weight surprised me a bit tonight. I don’t know if that makes me an a**hole and I’m sorry if it does.’

She then mouthed along to Taylor Swift lyrics that said, ‘That made me want to die’ while looking unhappily at the camera.

‘My ED is raging now,’ she captioned it.

In another video, Sammi explained that the date knew what her body looked like before they met up, since she included a few ‘full body’ photos on her dating profile.

In another video, Sammi explained that the date knew what her body looked like before they met up. She also shared her response, which included more details about her eating disorder

He then responded, ‘Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying it’s a deal breaker. I just wanted to let you know it did surprise me. You’re still a sweetheart. I’m sorry’

She also shared her response to his text message, which included more details about her eating disorder.

It read, ‘I completely get it. The way my dietician explained it to me — I’m in a transition stage where I’m recovering from anorexia so I gained quite a bit really quickly because my body is, like, scared I’m gonna starve again if that makes sense.

‘So my body is just holding on to everything possible in survival mode out of fear I’m gonna hurt it again.

‘But besides that explanation I don’t really know what else to say to that because it’s my recovery and only I need to understand how it works.’

He then responded, ‘Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying it’s a deal breaker. I just wanted to let you know it did surprise me. You’re still a sweetheart. I’m sorry, I really do feel like an a**hole.’

According to Sammi, he already knew she was suffering with her body image because she had talked about it on the date.

She said: ‘The f**ked up part is, he already knew that. I told him I have an eating disorder on the date and he still chose to say that to me.

‘Why did you feel like you needed to let me know? Was it a manipulation tactic to make me feel small and insecure from the beginning?’

People quickly flooded the comment section with their support for Sammi and left an array of backlash for her date – calling him things like ‘cruel’ and ‘messed up’

In one final video, Sammi revealed that she blocked him right after that.

‘I completely understand that everybody has a type, we’re all guilty of it, we’re all human,’ she concluded.

‘It happens, we have types. The problem isn’t that he has a type, the problem is I told him that I have an eating disorder.

‘I told him that I struggle with weight, I told him that struggle with eating. And he still went out of his way to say this to me.’

People quickly flooded the comment section with their support for Sammi and left an array of backlash for her date — calling his actions ‘alarming’ and ‘messed up.’

‘Why couldn’t he just say he wasn’t interested? Like damn bro,’ one person wrote.

Another added: ‘There’s nothing wrong with arriving to a date and not feeling attraction to the person. But you can just be kind and tell them no. This is cruel.’

‘This is a manipulation tactic,’ someone else said. ‘Do not talk to this man.’

‘He’s intentionally trying to make you feel insecure,’ a fourth comment read. ‘Run.’

‘It’s absolutely OK to have preferences. It’s absolutely not necessary to tell someone that if they don’t meet them,’ a different TikTok user agreed.
