Antonio Brown was seen smiling in a car driven by a chauffeur on social media in New York City after leaving his Tampa Bay Buccaneers mid-game on Sunday against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium.

Brown, 33, was kicked off the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after a bizarre, shirtless exit from the field before Tom Brady coolly led the Bucs on a 93-yard drive in the final minutes for a 28-24 victory over the New York Jets on Sunday.

Coach Bruce Arians said after the game that Brown was off the team.

‘He is no longer a Buc,’ Arians said.

New Jersey State Police told DailyMail.com they had escorted Brown to the airport at the Buccaneers’ request, however, hours after the game he was seen in New York City being driven by a chauffeur.

Danny Chalet, who’s handle is @Dannyboyhustlehard with over 10,000 followers on Instagram, is seen driving around Brown throughout the city in multiple videos. He’s known as a chauffeur for other NFL players like Saquon Barkley and Odell Beckham, Jr.

‘When my brother call me I’m there…’ Chalet wrote. ‘You know how I’m coming..’

He’s then seen in a series of videos with Brown including one with the former player on his phone smiling in the back of Chalet’s car.

Brown – who released rap songs under the name AB in 2020, including one with a feature from Rick Ross – released a song later in the evening called ‘Pit Not the Palace.’

Brown tweeted out a photo of himself without Bucs gear but fully dressed following the game with only the caption: ‘super-gremlin.’

The wide receiver also posted twice to Instagram, where he reportedly unfollowed the team account and Brady’s, in addition to the photo he’d already posted on Twitter.

‘Football is what we do, not who we are! Love,’ wrote Brown before thanking Nova Fashion, while wearing a camouflage outfit made by Nova.

He then posted another with him in his jersey, saying: ‘Big MAD (Making A Difference). Thanks for the opportunity’

Brown’s mid-game meltdown came late in the third quarter with Tampa Bay trailing 24-10.

He appeared animated while talking to teammate Mike Evans when he stripped off his pads, jersey, gloves and T-shirt – tossing the gloves and T-shirt into the stands – and then walked bare-chested down the sideline and into the end zone. He then waved to fans as jogged through the end zone and into the tunnel at MetLife Stadium.

Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer reported after the game that Arians said he was trying to get Brown to go into game and that Brown refused. Arians tried again, Brown refused and Arians told him to get out.

‘Never seen anything like it in all my years,’ the veteran coach added.

Several commenters worried for Brown’s mental health, noting that Brown suffered a grade 1 concussion in a January 2016 playoff game against the Cincinnati Bengals on a vicious hit to the head by Cincinnati’s Vontaze Burfect.

Since then, many have noticed Brown’s behavior become more erratic.

‘Antonio Brown is unstable and needs mental health treatment,’ wrote CNN commentator Bakari Sellers. ‘The league doesn’t care as long as he runs routes and catches passes.’

‘Without immediate help and no football, bad things could happen. Someone needs to wrap their arms around him.’

‘It isn’t a question of if Antonio Brown needs help, it’s who will step up and make sure he gets it. For all the world to see, one of the league’s ‘stars’ broke down and it’s time the NFL steps up to support mental health and all those who suffer.’

Expressed significant concern about Antonio Brown’s health over two years ago,’ added NFL analyst Ross Tucker. ‘The man needs help.’

‘It’s clear that Antonio Brown needs serious mental health intervention,’ wrote actor and football fan Chad Lowe.

Brown made multiple posts to Instagram after the game, including this one where he declares himself ‘Big MAD (Making A Difference)’

After the game, Brady asked fans to be ‘compassionate’ toward Brown and said he wasn’t aware of what was happening while it was happening and didn’t find out until the game ended.

‘Obviously a difficult situation,’ added Brady. ‘We all love him.’

It appeared to be a show of frustration by Brown, who had three catches for 26 yards.

Brown was suspended last month for three games for violating the league´s COVID-19 protocols. He also has a history of personal conduct issues and bizarre behavior.

Tom Brady said he encourages everyone to be compassionate towards Antonio Brown. He also said he wasn’t aware of what was happening while it was happening. He said he found out what happened after the game.

According to Sportrac, which tracks NFL player salaries, Brown’s outburst was costly.

Brown was eight catches, 55 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown away from garnering $999,999 in total bonuses. With a game-plus left in the season, he looked to be cruising toward those targets.

He’s also going to miss a bonus of $52,941 bonus for not being active in the Bucs’ Week 18 game against the Carolina Panthers and could lose out on a $250,000 bonus if Tampa Bay repeats as Super Bowl champions.

A report on the NFL website said that Brown was angry at being benched by Arians.

Brown’s brilliance as a pass catcher has been offset by a string of incidents away from the field.

Earlier this season Brown was hit with a three-game suspension for violating the NFL’s COVID-19 protocols having misrepresented his vaccination status.

The seven-times Pro Bowl receiver was sentenced to two years probation in June 2020 after he pleaded no contest to charges of assault and burglary.

He was released by the New England Patriots after one game in 2019 following allegations of sexual misconduct and sending intimidating text messages. Brown settled the civil dispute in April last year. The terms were not disclosed.

New England had acquired Brown after he was released by the then-Oakland Raiders before he played in a game due to multiple controversies.

Brown spent the first nine years of his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers before his one game with New England and the last two seasons in Tampa.

Brady marched the Buccaneers (12-4) down the field on nine plays, zipping a pass to Grayson – who was elevated from the practice squad – for the go-ahead score in the fourth quarter.

It was Brady´s third TD pass of the game and 40th of the season, joining him with Drew Brees as the only players to throw for 40 touchdowns in consecutive seasons.

Brady, who improved to 31-8 against the Jets, also tied Green Bay´s Aaron Rodgers as the only players with three seasons of 40 or more TD passes.
