This is the shocking moment a white van man rams a police car into a wall from behind at 80mph in a dramatic M1 chase.
Two suspected thieves have been arrested for attempted murder following the crash in the early hours of Thursday morning, in which brave officers amazingly escaped without any serious injuries.
Video footage shows the squad car moving in front of the van, before the driver slams into the back of him and declares: ‘See you later.’
A dramatic image also shows the aftermath of the incident in the form of the mangled wreckage of the police vehicle, which has its front end badly damaged.
Other photos show the white van after it was boxed in by police at 2.30am following the high speed chase.

Two people were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, theft, dangerous driving and failing to stop for police after they were brought to to a halt in South Yorkshire
Leicestershire Police said the van failed to stop before ramming a police car into a wall as they tried to escape on the motorway at high speed.

The force tweeted: ‘Occupants of this van had been out stealing tonight, they failed to stop & deliberately rammed police cars!
‘Fortunately officers have not been seriously injured! Amazing.
‘Van stopped. Two arrested, attempt murder, theft, dangerous drive & fail to stop! Result.’
One person commenting on the police tweet said: ‘Surprised how little damage there is to the van there, given the state of your motor.’
The force replied: ‘He rammed them from behind into a wall at about 80mph’
Another said: ‘Glad the officers aren’t seriously injured having looked at what’s left of their vehicle! God bless and a huge thank you to all who wear the uniform.’
