An American Airlines passenger has been arrested after he climbed out of the emergency hatch and walked onto the wing of the plane just moments after touch down at Miami International Airport on Wednesday.
The passenger, who was identified as Christian Segura, a 33-year-old American citizen according to Local News 10, allegedly opened the emergency hatch as the plane was taxiing towards the terminal after landing minutes prior.
Segura clambered out of the hatch and strolled along the wing of the plane as it was pulling up to stop outside the airport terminal at around 7:30pm after arriving from Colombia minutes earlier.

Airport authorities said the incident did not cause any delays and all other passengers on the plane were able to get off without any issues.
According to police, Segura told officers that he was not feeling after his arrest and he was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s emergency room after paramedics determined he had high blood pressure.
The Miami-Dade Police Department confirmed that he will be taken to jail once he is released from the infirmary room.
Following disembarking of the plane, an American Airlines spokesperson issued this statement: ‘We are aware of an incident involving a passenger on American Airlines flight 920 from Cali, Colombia (CLO) to Miami (MIA).
‘While customers were exiting the plane at the gate, a passenger opened the over-wing emergency exit and jumped onto the ramp.
