She’s one of the world’s top models.

And Kendall Jenner made that much clear while gracing the Met Gala in NYC on Monday.

The IMG-repped stunner, 25, put on a dazzling display while wearing a sheer Givenchy gown lavished in glittering gemstones.

Sheer wonder: Kendall Jenner looked breathtaking in a nearly-nude Givenchy dress lavished in gems during Monday night’s Met Gala in NYC

Inspiration? Fans of old Hollywood were quick to recognize the inspiration for Kendall’s frock, which appeared to be a sexy version of Audrey Hepburn’s ball gown from 1964’s My Fair Lady

Kendall’s dress left little to the imagination, revealing all of her long legs while masking her mid-section with a nude bodysuit.

Rhinestones cascaded from her shoulders down towards the bustline, where a delicate layer of beaded fringe crossed her chest towards the top of her opera gloves.

The skirt swept towards the floor, glittering with every movement the elder Jenner sister made. Continuing to sparkle, Kendall wore a dramatic diamond collar.

And she made sure her dress was the main event but donning nude heels which blended into the outfit completely.

Glisten in gemstones by Givenchy like Kendall

Kendall Jenner was a vision at this year’s Met Gala. The model seemed to glide onto the red carpet, thanks to her glitzy gown designed by Givenchy.

Featuring a strikingly sheer base and adorned with hundreds of tiny gemstones, this gown is a revealing take on a classic worn by Givenchy’s original muse, Audrey Hepburn.

The timeless silhouette lends a touch of glam to Kendall’s ultra-modern look, which she wore over nothing but a nude-tone bodysuit.

The Met Gala is finally back after being cancelled in 2020 amid the pandemic, and then suffering a double-delay upon being pushed back from its traditional slot on the first Sunday in May to this September.

The event features a heavy-hitting contingent of celebrity co-chairs: actor Timothée Chalamet, musician Billie Eilish, poet Amanda Gorman and tennis star Naomi Osaka.

Honorary chairs for the evening will be designer Tom Ford, sponsor Instagram’s Adam Mosseri, and Vogue’s Anna Wintour

The must-have accessory for all at this year’s gala is a Covid-19 vaccine.

‘Currently, all attendees at The Met Gala on September 13 must provide proof of full vaccination and will also be expected to wear masks indoors except when eating or drinking,’ a spokesperson for The Met said last month.

This year’s gala will be a more intimate affair, to be followed by a larger one on May 2, 2022.
