Karlie Kloss was most certainly the lady in red, with the help of a stunning Carolina Herrera dress at the 2021 Met Gala.

The 29-year-old supermodel was accompanied by the gown’s designer, Carolina Herrera creative director Wes Gordon, at the gala.

Kloss also took to her Instagram and Instagram story to share some snaps from her Met Gala preparations.

The red gown features large ruffles over her shoulder that are fashioned to look like actual rose petals with a plunging neckline.

The ruffles flow over the red sleeves as well, with a minidress look in front with a long red train in the back.

The blonde bombshell completed her look with black pumps and a red handbag with a rose petal design on top.

Kloss wore her hair pulled back tightly in a bun, while also wearing elegant DeBeers Aria diamond earrings for the occasion.

She shared several snaps of the dress on her Instagram, captioned, ‘Roses are red… MET GALA 2021 Thank you @carolinaherrera + @wesgordon.’

She also took to her Instagram story to share a snap of her ‘met essentials’ snacks including a Perfect Bar, Pressed juice and fries from The Mark Hotel.

The annual bash comes just a week after Kloss and her husband, Joshua Kushner landed a new home in New York City for a whopping $42.5 million.

The property also comes with a 5,100-square-foot exterior space along with a personal wine cellar and private terraces.
