In his latest excursion in the Hawaiian surf, billionaire Mark Zuckerberg, 37, was seen arriving to a scenic Kauai beach in a souped-up UTV before boarding an equally impressive jet boat, and topping off the trendy tour de force in a waʻa—an elegant Hawaiian canoe.
The $136 billion man was accompanied on his joy ride by a buddy instead of usual partner in his ritzy escapades, his wife Priscilla, who was absent.
Together, the pair owns more than 1,300 acres on Kauai, which has made them the target of critics slamming them for trying to ‘colonize’ the island, turning it into the Facebook founder’s personal playground.
The couple was first scrutinized after Zuckerberg built a wall around his first Hawaiian real-estate purchase that blocked beach access.

The 1300 acres of land, which the billionaire spent $116 million on in 2014, includes most of Pila’a beach and Kahu’aina Plantation. According to local Hawaiian newspaper the Garden Island, the property has a 6,100-square-foot house, with a 16-car garage, its own labyrinth of offices, and an extensive security headquarters for Zuckerberg’s $23 million security team.
Back on July Fourth, Zuckerberg posted a cringeworthy clip to his Instagram account riding above the water on his electronic surfboard, holding an American flag to the tune of John Denver’s hit song Take Me Home, Country Roads.

The Independence Day post was watched nearly 470,000 times within three hours of being posted and swept the internet with a host of comments that laughed at, mocked, and criticized the billionaire for an apparent publicity stunt.
Some joked that Zuckerberg ‘may have united the left and the right in America: just not in the way he planned.’
Zuckerberg was joined by an entourage of friends who were also all in camouflage. The trail is 11 miles long and is described as one of the most beautiful but dangerous in America
Zuckerberg seemed up for the challenge in his camouflage gear. He carried his weaponry on his back, in a backpack tied round his waist
And back in June, Zuckerberg was seen hiking in full camo with hunting gear to catch wild boar.
In the past, he has spoken of his love of hunting wild boar. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of feral pigs on Hawaii which eat plants and are a nuisance to homeowners.
Hunting them is allowed on the Kalalau Trail, and so is wild goat hunting.
