Police have launched an investigation after a man and a women in their 80s was found dead in Norfolk. 

Officers were called to the house in, Cromer, shortly after 7pm yesterday when they discovered the bodies. 

The East of England Ambulance Service called police at 7.18pm to attend the scene at The Warren, in the coastal town which is 23 miles north of Norwich.

Police have launched an investigation after the bodies of a man and woman in their 80s were discovered at a house in Cromer, Norfolk at 7.18pm yesterday 

Officers discovered a man and woman unresponsive inside the house. 

An investigation has been launched into the cause of the deaths. 

Senior investigating officer DI Chris Burgess of Norfolk Police said: ‘Our investigation is in its early stages, however we believe that those involved are known to one another and we are not currently seeking anyone else in relation to this investigation.

A police cordon is in place at the property and detectives will carry out further enquiries to establish the full circumstances leading up to this incident.’

Officers have informed the next of kin.
