A grimy three-bedroom house with black fungus on the walls and rooms filled with filth has hit the market for £80,000 – but needs a ‘full renovation’.
The semi-detached house, complete with an overgrown garden, is for sale in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
Pictures of the property show the kitchen’s tiled walls and cabinet doors covered in brown marks that were likened to horse excrement by one prospective buyer.
There is also peeling wallpaper and cracked crockery on the floor, along with a tub of heavy duty wipes and a can of cider on one of the work tops.
And the issues are shared across other rooms inside the property.
The bathroom again features brown marks in the tub, toilet and sink, as well as mouldy stains throughout – including the shower curtain.
The lounge and dining areas are also strewn with rubbish, with a broken tumble dryer appearing randomly in one of the three bedrooms.
Yorkshire estate agents Merryweathers has listed the property for £80,000, but has warned it will inevitably require an overhaul.
The living area is strewn with rubbish including what appears to be a television on the floor, filth curtains and a door to which access has been blocked by the path of junk
The property looks unassuming from the outside, but the interior paints a vastly different picture and requires a large renovation project
One of the three bedrooms of the property, featuring a bed that has a mattress covered in rubbish, a dusty lampshade and a dilapidated wardrobe
The bathroom is covered in horrendous brown marks and mould, while the bathtub appears to be in complete ruin
The overall summary reads: ‘A three-bedroom, semi-detached house in need of full renovation and offered for sale by modern method of auction.’
It adds: ‘The property stands on a popular, established development off Aughton Lane being centrally located for travelling to Sheffield, Rotherham and junction 31 of the M1 motorway.’
One homebuyer said: ‘For £80k, I’d seriously consider it. A couple of skips, a hazmat suit, new carpets/kitchen/bathroom, it could be quite nice.’
Kat Green added: ‘What the f*** has been happening in the bath?’
Another quipped: ‘I love what they have done with the kitchen.’
The Rightmove listing offers no descriptions of the individual rooms.
Merryweathers declined to reveal until how recently the three-bedroom property had been occupied while they await its sale.
