A police officer was airlifted to hospital following a crash involving a motorcycle going the wrong way along a major road.
The M25 was closed in both directions near Junction 3 for Swanley following the collision at around 4.05pm today, Kent Police said.
The force said patrols were responding to a report of a stolen motorcycle when the bike, being driven the wrong way along the clockwise carriageway, crashed into the officer.

Video footage from the scene shows police cars stopped in front of waiting cars as officers attend to someone, who appears to be the injured officer, on the road.
A clip of the accident on social media also shows one driver traveling down the road when a motorcycle going against the traffic speeds past them.

Another video shows motorists and officers stood around a person understood to be the injured officer while a helicopter circles around.
A 26-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of offences including dangerous driving.
Both carriageways have reopened but as 6pm, traffic was still ‘heavily congested’, police said.
