In pictures: The 2021 World Series

The Atlanta Braves are one win away from the franchise’s first world championship since 1995.
The World Series continued Saturday night with the Braves defeating the Houston Astros 3-2. The Braves now have a 3-1 lead in the series.
This is the Braves’ first World Series appearance since 1999. They got here by defeating the Los Angeles Dodgers, last season’s World Series winners, in the National League Championship Series.
Meanwhile, it is the third World Series in five years for the Astros, who won it all in 2017. But many baseball fans consider the title tainted because of a cheating scandal.
Major League Baseball found the team had illegally created a system which decoded and communicated the opposing teams’ pitching signs during their championship season, which led to the firing of the team’s manager and general manager.
