And it seems all the skydiving and free-running left Tom Cruise, 59, feeling famished on Saturday night as he scoffed not one but two Chicken Tikka Masalas costing £19.45 each amid shooting the upcoming Mission: Impossible 7 in Birmingham.

The actor took to Newhall Street in the ‘city of a thousand trades’ where he spent two hours at the Indian restaurant Asher’s, before leaving staff a generous £60 tip.

A little hungry? Tom Cruise scoffed TWO portions of Chicken Tikka Masala as he dined out in Birmingham on Saturday night after taking Mission: Impossible 7 filming to New Street Station

A socially distanced snap taken by his own security guard showed the Top Gun star donning a navy knitted sweater, which he combined with a pair of jeans.

With a matching jacket in-hand, Tom grinned alongside three suited-and-booted members of staff from the eatery.

Employees of the business soon took to the Asher’s Twitter page to share the exciting news of having a served up their grub to a Hollywood A-Lister.

Production on Mission: Impossible 7 began again at the end of last month after being paused and delayed multiple times due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The scenes are looking to be spellbinding if a Sunday shoot where Birmingham’s New Street train station was transformed into Abu Dhabi airport are anything to go by.

An aviator-clad Tom, who plays Ethan Hunt in the famous franchise, looked deep in conversation with director Christopher McQuarrie, 53, as as he stood with his legs stretched out.

Cutting a pair of navy suit trousers and a matching smart padded jacket, the movie icon was joined by his new co-star Hayley Atwell, 39.

She portrays a character mononymously known as Grace in the series’ final instalment and sported a tawny suede jacket, combined with black trousers.

Filming for Mission Impossible 7 was paused and delayed multiple times due to the Covid pandemic.

Tom has spent much of the last year in the UK filming for the acclaimed franchise and has been pictured filming action-packed scenes in the Yorkshire Moors in recent months.

During his downtime, the screen star has also been pictured at several big events including Wimbledon and the Silverstone Grand Prix.

Last month, Mission: Impossible 7 filming was reportedly paused again due to a positive Covid test with crew members speculating it could be Cruise.

Despite there being ‘no proof’ to back up the idle talk, it was claimed that people were gossiping it could be Tom, due to his alleged absence on set.

It is not known whether Tom has received the Covid vaccine or not, although despite being proven to dramatically cut the risk of coronavirus, none of the jabs approved in Britain are 100 per cent effective.

Mission: Impossible 7 is set to be released on May 27th, 2022.
