Osama bin Laden’s half-brother, Ibrahim bin Laden, is putting his longtime Bel Air mansion up for sale for $28 million, after it sat empty for 20 years since the horrific 9/11 terror attacks.
Built in 1931, the home at 634 Stone Canyon Rd sits on more than two acres of land, spanning 7,100 square feet, with seven bedrooms and five bathrooms.
Ibrahim – who is Osama’s oldest half-brother – originally purchased the Mediterranean villa-style mansion in 1983 for just $1,653,000.
Today, that price point would total out to roughly $5.5million thanks to 38 percent of inflation.
Made with concrete walls and painted a bubble-gum shade of pink, the property sits blocks from the famously ritzy Hotel Bel Air.
Next door neighbors include two of Los Angeles County’s largest and grandest homes: a 36,000-square-foot Tudor-style mansion owned by Israeli-born entrepreneur Beny Alagem, and a 43,000-square-foot French-inspired behemoth owned by mobile home tycoon Jeffrey Kaplan.

Several palm trees adorn the exterior of the residence, while a well-maintained swimming and spa are located out back
Because no one has resided in the home since 2001, the property appears to have been forgotten in time
What was once lush greenery is now overtaken by tall weeds, while stone fountains remain empty and dilapidated.

It includes a prominent lineage of previous owners, including Golden Age Hollywood producer Arthur Freed, known for the famed productions Singin’ in the Rain and The Wizard of Oz.
In the 70s it was renovated by the so-called king of Hollywood Regency, John Elgin Woolf.
Ibrahim supposedly resided in the property with his former wife, Christine Hartunian Sinay, a Los Angeles socialite with whom he shares daughter Sibba Hartunian.
While living on the estate, Ibrahim employed ‘full-time groundskeepers, household help, chauffeurs, and private security,’ according to Steve Coll’s bestselling book, The Bin Ladens: An Arabian Family in the American Century.
He and Sinay eventually divorced, followed by Sinay marrying then divorcing Jason Sinay, a Los Angeles musician and son of Fiji Water founder Lynda Resnick.
Ibrahim rented out the property, with rumors circulating it was being used to shoot porn films.
Like his brother, Ibrahim is one of 56 children born to Saudi Arabian construction tycoon Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden, who additionally had 22 wives.
His brother formed the al-Qaeda network which was responsible for carrying out the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on September 11, 2001.
On May 2, 2011, Osama was killed in a terrorist compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan.
