Queen Letizia of Spain was the epitome of summer chic as she sported a floral emerald dress while joining King Felipe at a new art exhibition.

The Spanish Queen, 48, attended the opening of ‘Odaliscas: From Ingres to Picasso’ at the Museum of Fine Arts inside the Palace of Carlos V at Alhambra, in Granada on Thursday.

For the occasion, she sported the floaty number from Maje, which featured an asymmetric hemline and highlighted her slender waist.

Known for re-wearing her favourite pieces, it was the third time the monarch has sported the floral number after first wearing on a visit to Ovideo Archeology Museum in July 2019, and again last summer on a trip to Palma de Mallorca.

The mother-of-two often opts for lighter colours during the summer months, and kept cool in the lightweight chiffon fabric.

She added height to her petite frame with a pair of cream court heels and toted a complementary plum clutch under her arm.

Keeping safe with a white face covering, she kept her makeup look minimal and wore her raven locks in sleek lines.

Meanwhile, King Felipe, 53, opted for a grey suit and navy tie, which he wore with a blue pinstripe shirt.

Look regal in green like Queen Letizia wearing Maje

Queen Letizia of Spain repeated one of our favorite dresses in her collection for an engagement today.

We love the hanky hem, wrap neckline and pretty print on this green dress, which is by très chic French label Maje. The shirred waistband flatters the figure perfectly!

The ‘Rayema’ dress has now sold out, but the label is available to shop via Saks Fifth Avenue so click (right) to view the current collection. Or if you’re wanting some green in your wardrobe, how about one of the alternatives from our edit below instead?

No stranger to reutilising her wardrobe to create new looks, she has sported the dress on a number of occasions since debuting it in July 2019.

The exhibition celebrates the work of artists who created paintings of odalisques, or concubines, such as Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres and Pablo Picasso.

A champion of the arts, she attended the inauguration of Berlanguiano exhibition in Madrid on Wednesday.
