The Netflix show became an overnight sensation when it debuted in December.
And filming for the second series of Bridgerton has begun, with star Luke Newton, 24 – who plays the youngest Bridgerton brother Colin in the racy period drama – revealing on Instagram on Sunday, that the cast were having fun back on set.
The actor shared a series of behind-the-scenes videos and photographs, including a snap of Luke Thompson, 32, – who plays middle brother Benedict – and Jonathan Bailey, 32 – who plays eldest brother Anthony – sitting in their costumes.

The young Netflix star also included a photograph and short clip of himself and Luke on horseback, while taking a break from filming.
Alongside the video and backstage shots, he wrote: ‘The boys are back in town.’

The second book in the series of novels, sees Anthony Bridgerton go on the hunt for a suitable bride.
And while he tries to pursue Kate’s sister Edwina he finds himself becoming attracted to her instead, despite the fact they are often at odds with each other.
Simone’s character’s name has been altered to reflect Simone’s South-Asian background, changed from Kate Sheffield.

The show has been praised for mixing up tired casting, featuring BAME cast members in prominent societal roles such as Regé-Jean as the Duke of Hastings, Golda Rosheuvel as Queen Charlotte, and Adjoa Andoh as Lady Danbury.
In February, Jonathan promised the show’s second season will feature plenty of steamy sex scenes because they are ‘at the heart’ of the show in an interview with The Mirror.
Reflecting on the show, the actor, 32, said: ‘The thing that’s so at the heart of Bridgerton is intimacy and identity and sexuality – and so of course that’s something we’re going to have to make sure we continue with.
‘The amazing producers will work magic, I’m sure, to make sure we still get the steaminess that we all deserve.’
