Filming for Ant and Dec‘s Saturday Night Takeaway was interrupted by an ‘aggressive’ set invader on Saturday evening.

The TV presenters were pictured outside Television Centre in Central London as the man, dressed in a grey hooded top and jeans, was confronted by security guards.

He was seen being dragged away by the burly officials as ITV presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly were pictured in fencning outfits with medals draped around their necks.

The set incursion allegedly occurred just before the long-running show was set to go live.

A source told MailOnline: ‘The man was heard shouting and was very aggressive.’ 

They said he was involved in a ‘struggle’ with security guards before he ‘ran off’.

Ant and Dec were then photographed running out of Television Centre flanked by four security guards to continue filming with fellow presenter Andi Peters.

Peters was pictured in a giant plastic orb being pushed by Ant and Dec.

ITV have been approached for comment. 

In the latest show, singer Sir Tom Jones left viewers stunned when they realised he was still using an old flip phone.   

The Welsh singer, 80, appeared in a sketch with the hosts but eagle-eyed viewers were distracted by his decade-old phone.

Sir Tom appeared in a short skit with Ant and Dec  before performing in the End of the Show Show with cartoons Tom and Jerry.
