Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have released their first Christmas card since relocating to California showing off 19-month old Archie’s shock of red hair.
The couple can be seen playing with their young son in the yard of their $14.7million Montecito home, along with dogs Pula and Guy.
The card was released Wednesday via Mayhew, the UK animal charity for which Meghan is a patron.
It reads: ‘Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.’ The card is a drawing of an image taken by Meghan’s mom Doria earlier this month.
A spokesperson for the couple said: ‘The original photo of the family was taken at their home earlier this month by The Duchess’s mother.
‘The small Christmas tree, including the homemade ornaments and other decorations, were selected by Archie, and the tree will be replanted after the holidays.’
The card offers a sneak peek into the family’s home and Archie’s playhouse.

In the card Meghan writes: ‘This year we, as a family, have made donations to several charities with you in mind.
‘From a local California organisation that helps families transition out of homelessness, to two of our U.K. patronages: one that supports animal and community welfare, and the other, a memorial fund for a cherished friend that helps to educate children and fight poverty in Uganda, we have honoured their work on behalf of all of us.’
Harry and Meghan relocated to Montecito after staying at Tyler Perry’s $18million, 12-bedroom, eight-bathroom Beverly Hills home following their move from Canada, after stepping down as senior royals in March.
In November Meghan wrote for The New York Times about her July miscarriage. ‘Losing a child means carrying an almost unbearable grief, experienced by many but talked about by few,’ she wrote.
The couple, who are understood to be spending the festive period with Doria, recently announced they have signed a lucrative podcast deal with Spotify worth up to £30million.
They will produce and host their own shows as part of the newly formed Archewell Audio – starting with a ‘holiday special’ that the couple hopes will ‘uplift audiences around the world’.
