The enourmous property was bought by Kogan – who has never given an interview during his 25-year business career – in 2013.

He reportedly invested a massive $100million (£74.7million) on building it into Israel’s most-luxurious property.

And, with the mansion on the market for $258,318,757, Kogan is set to take home a profit exceeding $158million.

In comparison, a mega-mansion on London’s new ‘billionaire row’ became the most expensive property on sale in the capital this year when it went on the market in February.

The new build in St John’s Wood has become the most pricey house to be listed this year in the capital, boasting a 25,000 square footage, 14-meter pool and ten bathrooms.

Developed by Greek business man George Dragoumanos, who bought the plot on ‘billionaires’ row’ in 2013, the neo-classical residence on Avenue Road is also available to rent for a whopping £160,000 a month.

Across the pond, a developer is preparing to list what is believed to be America’s most expensive home at half a billion dollars.

The mansion, dubbed ‘The One’ and developed by former film producer Nile Niami, sits atop a hill in the affluent Los Angeles neighborhood of Bel Air and is expected to be ready for sale soon.

It is complete with a nightclub, beauty salon, 20 bedrooms and sweeping views of LA and the Pacific Ocean.

A ‘royal-style’ luxury home owned by an illusive Russian billionaire has gone on the market in Israel for a quarter of a billion dollars.

The 69,000sq ft mega-mansion is situated in a haven for the country’s rich and famous – and the property’s owner is no different.

Valery Kogan has an estimated net worth of $2.5billion (£1.87billion) and made his fortune as the co-owner of Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport.

The vast airport is located east of the capital’s bustling centre and served upwards of 30 million passengers in 2017 alone.

Kogan has not been shy in flaunting his fabulous wealth over the years.

In 2017, he threw a money-no-object, star-studded wedding for his 19-year-old granddaughter.

He forked out £3.5million for Mariah Carey and Sir Elton John to sing at the £1,450-a-night London Landmark hotel.

Guests included Antonio Bandaras and DJ Mark Ronson.

Kogan – who has never given an interview during his 25-year business career – also has an enviable portfolio of properties around the world.

In 2013, he reportedly invested a massive $100million (£74.7million) on building Israel’s most-luxurious property.

And, with that mansion now on the market for $258,318,757, Kogan is set to take home a profit exceeding $158million.

He formerly owned a 1,000 square metre flat in Israel which he bought for $31million – setting a real estate record in the country, Forbes reported.

Earlier this year, Kogan put the tel Aviv seafront penthouse up for sale for over £48million.

Kogan – who was the 41st richest man in Russia in 2014 – also bought a $20million (£15million) mansion in Greenwich, Connecticut, in 2005.

The home, built in 1924, has been described as ‘a 25,400-square-foot megamansion spread out on a seven-acre lot’.

‘The house, hidden beyond a front gate that looked remarkably like the gate from the first shot of Citizen Kane, was built in a whimsical and eclectic style, with a large dome and fairy-tale turrets; the inside was panelled in historic wood the owner had flown in from Flanders.’

In 2009, Olga was reported to have abandoned plans to demolish the mansion and build an even bigger one after planning rows with neighbours and the local authority.

Kogan’s children have clearly followed in their property-mogul father’s footsteps as his son Alexander, 36, reportedly owns one of the most expensive mansions in Miami, on Indian Creek Island, nicknamed ‘billionaire’s bunker’.

Russian popstar Alexander – who was born in Tajikistan but educated in New York – is one of the billionaire’s two children.

His daughter Darina Lozovsky is a glamorous jet-setting banker.

Bizarrely, it was revealed in 2017 that Darina’s daughter Irene planned her extravagant wedding to Daniel Kenvey to take revenge on an ex-boyfriend.

In a video uploaded to Instagram, Irene stated her name and then says: ‘I only got married to p*** of my ex-boyfriend who I’m now back with. Everything works out well.’

The wedding took place at London’s Landmark Hotel, where the Presidential Suite costs £1,450-a-night and featured a star-studded bill of performances.

The pair had a traditional Jewish ceremony, as both Irene and Daniel are Jewish. The groom is thought to be from London, although how he met Irene is unclear.

Mariah Carey is said to have been paid £2.5million to fly in from the US and sing the 2005 ballad We Belong Together to the couple.

The Sun reported that the bride wept when Sir Elton John, who charges no less than £1million, dedicated the song Tiny Dancer to her during a 12-song set.

Actor Antonio Banderas also made a speech during the star-studded wedding, which ended with a DJ set from producer Mark Ronson.

The fashion house also boasts clients including Beyonce and Angelina Jolie, who wore one of their dresses to meet the Queen.

The dress made for Irene was so extravagant that four people had to help her down the aisle, Cosmopolitan reported.

It cost £100,000 and featured five flavours, more than 10,000 sugar flowers, and contained some 1,000 duck eggs.

The nine-course menu from the day shows the luxurious food offered to guests, including tuna tartare, risotto, sea bass with caviar and fillet of beef.
