Del Boy Trotter falling through a bar in Only Fools and Horses has been voted the greatest TV moment of all time.
In what has become TV comedy gold, the episode ‘Yuppy Love’ shows Peckham’s best-known wheeler-dealer – played by David Jason – telling Trigger how to woo ‘modern Euro-birds.’
As he spots two women looking over, Del Boy tells Trigger, played by the late Roger Lloyd Pack: ‘Play it nice and cool, son, nice and cool – you know what I mean?’, before disappearing through the bar.
It beat Susan Boyle’s audition on Britain’s Got Talent and Den Watts handing his wife Angie divorce papers, which came in second and third place respectively, in a survey of 2,000 Brits conducted by Virgin Media.
