A man has died following a ‘disturbance where rocks were thrown’ in the grounds of a historic Kent castle.
The victim was reported to have been going for a walk in the grounds of Lullingstone Castle in Eynsford when he died at around 5pm today.
Rocks were allegedly thrown by a person close to the historic manor house, before the man sadly passed away at the scene.
Witnesses reported seeing armed police arrive and at the castle and administer CPR before paramedics also attempted to save the victim’s life, Kent Online reported.

Locals also reported seeing an air ambulance hovering above the village.
One witness said: ‘I came out and saw armed police running up the road. Other officers told me it was now a crime scene.’
A spokesperson for Kent Police confirmed the force was called to a ‘disturbance’ in the grounds of Lullingstone Castle at 5.21pm.
‘A man later died at the scene and officers from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate are investigating,’ a statement added. ‘It was reported that rocks were being thrown.’
