Fashion fans have gone wild over a £22 frock from New Look that’s set to be the dress of the summer.
Instagram users from around the UK have been sharing snaps as they pose in the trendy smock dress.
The mini dress, which costs just £22, features a chic black-and-white checked patten, short puff sleeves and a cool tiered hem.
Dozens of customers praised the dress online, with one insisting it was ‘so gorgeous’ and others saying they ‘needed’ the trendy garment.

The monochrome mini dress features an elasticated waist, making it perfectly comfortable for relaxing around the house.
Meanwhile the pretty keyhole button-back fastening and fit-and-flare design makes it a versatile piece which any fashionista could wear.
Fortunately for fashion fans, the smock is still available online in every size through 6-18.
While some fashionistas have accentuated their figure with a trendy thick belt, others have left the dress loose in order to enjoy it’s relaxed fit.

Influencer Nikki Nicola, 46, from London, delighted her 52,000 followers when she shared a snap in the trendy gown.
The fashionista paired the dress with a set of chunky black wedges and let her dress do all the talking by leaving her accessories to a minimum.
She revealed she was loving the shorter dress over midi lengths this summer, adding: ‘This New Look dress is one I’ve seen on a few of you lovely ladies and I couldn’t resist it.’
